Geek On The Run is committed to protecting your privacy.

You may view any area of this Web site without providing any personal information whatsoever. Only when you wish to contact us (or have us contact you) regarding a product, service, or any other matter, will you be asked to provide information that will enable us to fulfill your request.

This Web site serves free, anonymous, software downloads for some of our subsidiary sites. You may download any of the programs offered on our server without providing any personal information whatsoever. You do not need to register nor provide a username, email address, nor any other identifying information.

When We Will Ask for Personal Information

We will only ask you for personal information when we need it to fulfill a request that you have initiated. The information requested may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, details of your computer's hardware and software and the problems you are experiencing, and payment information once a product or service has been purchased.

We will use your personal information only for the following purposes:

Web Site Behavior and Data Collection

Like Web servers in general, our server collects non-personal data about its visitors. Some of this information is required by law to be logged, and some of it is collected for technical and/or statistical reasons.

The data we collect includes information such as:

Advertising

This Web site may feature limited advertisements for technology products and services that we believe may be of interest to people who visit a technology Web site. But we do not attempt to "target" advertising to you based upon your individual Web browsing habits.

Generally speaking, all we will know is that someone, somewhere purchased a particular product or service from a link on our site. This helps us to determine which products and services are popular, but does not allow us to identify you as an individual.

Only in exceptional circumstances (for example, if we will be involved in the delivery of a product or service that you have purchased) do we receive personally identifiable information.
